Seascapes to Laneways Walk runs Thursday to Sunday from 10am - 12:30pm
We created this tour to provide a fun introduction to Newcastle's fascinating history and modern day cultural delights. Travelling by foot from beaches to laneways, we explore highlights of the thriving new arts scene and learn about how new businesses have revitalised the city centre.
We also explore Newcastle's heritage by learning about Aboriginal heritage, colonial, maritime, and industrial life, and secret architectural wonders.
10am - 12:30pm Thursday - Sunday. Includes a 20 minute refreshment break at a local cafe.
Meet at the in front of Six Degrees cafe, Queens Wharf, 150 Wharf Road. Look for your guide between Six Degrees and the Stockton Ferry Terminal in a black Newcastle Afoot t-shirt - don't worry, we will be easy to find! There is seating and shelter available in the area. We will walk through Newcastle East, and finish near where we started.
Tickets are only $34 and include coffee/tea. There is a small additional booking fee.
